OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Pioneering a New Sensory Art Experience

After 35 years growing a successful business,
I'm returning to my first love, painting.

Through the years, Roundtree Visuals has collaborated with world-class firms and has been awarded many honors for our innovative work. This would not have been possible without our clients. Together, we've enhanced people's lives and set new standards in healthcare design. Thank you for your vision and for your trust. It has been inspiring to work with you.

A special thanks goes to Michael Monaldo and Maura Winesburg who believed in my creativity and gave me the first of many projects. To Brian Crotty, my gratitude for all your hard work. Together we built a business and a remarkable friendship. Your voice of reason and humor was invaluable and I'll always remember the day you came to work in full robot attire and the look on the client's face during our video conference call.

Thank you, Grover Lumbard for being my mentor from Day 1 in 1978 when I left Seattle for Los Angeles in a well dented white van. To Paula Lumbard, my friend of 37 years who started her business at our breakfast table and continues to inspire me.

If your name is not mentioned here, thank you for everything you provided. You know who you are.

As I prepare to focus on being an artist I am remodeling the studio. Six workstations are becoming an open art studio. On the business front, Brian is overseeing the last three projects. I haven't been involved in decision making for a few months, now. It's exhilarating. And it is proof that when your heart tells you it is time to move on, it feels so right. As part of the transition I plan to refer business to WHO.

As I write this, I am filled with a rush of memories of so many conversations and so many places that have been forever changed for the good through our collaboration. And I'm struck by how fortunate we have been to know this kind of professional success.

As life changes, it presents new opportunities. My word of advice is "be curious".

To our continued success,

Deborah Roundtree
